Soccer Memo: Coaches and officials are urged to read the soccer
memo that was posted on the website May 16. You can read it by clicking Here.
State Line Pairings
To Be Released Next Week: State
line pairings will be placed on the IGHSAU website late next week, most likely
Friday (May 25)
Career Soccer Statistics Needed: With Iowa girlsŐ soccer now in its 10th season, I would like to begin compiling a statistics list in several soccer categories. I am hoping that coaches can provide a list of the following:
Players from 1998-to-present with 100 or more career goals
Players from 1998-to-present with 100 or career assists
Goalkeepers with 25-or-more career shutouts
If you have kept records
of these statistics, I would appreciate an e-mail listing the player, the years
the athlete played, and the career totals. You may e-mail this information to
Jason Eslinger at jasoneslinger@ighsau.org.
Submissions MUST come from the head coach or activities director. Thanks to
coaches that have already submitted statistics!
All-State Ballot Can
Be Downloaded: The soccer
all-state ballot can now by downloaded by clicking here.
Ballots are due back to
Jason Eslinger on FRIDAY, JUNE 15. Please
read ballots carefully. Coaches
are urged to include goalkeepers and defenders on their ballots so both
important positions arenŐt slighted.
