2008-2009 OFFICIAL REGISTRATION TYPES AND FEES

(Online Registration for 2008-09 Begins April 15, 2008)

 

All officials working a contest involving students in grades 9-12 must be licensed.

 

Games involving 7th and 8th grade students must have at least one licensed official.

 

Currently Licensed Officials

  1. Fee is $30.00 for one sport and $10.00 for each additional sport
  2. Attend a rules meeting every other year
  3. Once registration is dropped you will become a new official

 

Tournament Officiating:

1.     Attend rules meeting

2.     Pass Online Test

3.     Submit availability

 

New Officials

  1. Fee is $30.00 for one sport and $10.00 for each additional sport
  2. Attend a rules meeting
  3. Pass Girls Test with 75% or greater

 

Tournament Officiating:

1.     Attend rules meeting

2.     Pass Online Test

3.     Submit availability

 

Non-Varsity Officials (Not attending a rules meeting)

  1. Fee is $30.00 for one sport and $10.00 for each additional sport
  2. Pass Online Test
  3. Cannot work Varsity contest

 

High School Students

  1. Fee is $1.00
  2. Can only work games involving 7th-8th grade students
  3. Pass Online test with 75% or greater

 

Affiliate Members (Out of State)

  1. Fee $10.00 per sport.
  2. First time in Iowa must take Iowa Girls Online test.
  3. To retain membership you must register each year and pay fee
  4. Registered in sport you wish to work in your home state.
