Golf Rangefinder Interpretation

May a coach use a Rangefinder to gain knowledge of yardage on a hole

and then pass this information on to his player/s at the legal time in which the coach may speak with them?

Interpretation: A coach with knowledge of a particular distance which was gained by the use of a Rangefinder, may pass this information on to his/her players without penalty.

The information may only be passed on during the time period in which you are allowed to coach your player/s.
