State Line Pairings to be posted Thursday afternoon (Feb. 12).

If Your School is Hosting Regional Games, please remember to call or e-mail your regional tournament score as soon as your game is over. IGHSAU staff will be answering the phones on score nights. The number to call is: (515) 288-9741 or e-mail Jason Eslinger at jasoneslinger@ighsau.org. Calling in scores is a requirement of the host school. Failing to call in your score could jeopardize your schoolÕs chances of hosting tournament games in the future.

Check the IGHSAU Website Early and Often: Any postponements or site changes during the tournament series will be posted on the IGHSAU website first. During the tournament, coaches and administration are advised to check the website daily.

Also, to make sure you have the most up-to-date regional brackets, click here to download 1A pairings; here to download Class 2A; here to download Class 3A; and here to download Class 4A pairings.

State Tournament Program Information: Program information must be filled out and sent to the IGHSAU electronically. Coaches must log-on to the IGHSAU website to fill out these forms. Access to these forms will require a username and password. Your athletic director has been issued the username and password to access the forms.

Each team must supply a team photo to Jason Eslinger at the IGHSAU. You must e-mail a JPEG file of your team picture to Jason at jasoneslinger@ighsau.org. Be sure to include identification with your photo. All information must be received no later than Friday, Feb. 20. Failure to meet this deadline will result in having all of your information omitted from the official state tournament program. If your teamÕs QuikStats game-by-game results are updated, schools do not need to fill out the game-by-game portion of the online program forms. (However, rosters must be submitted). All state qualifiers must update their stats on QuikStats as soon as possible after the regional final.

Official Recommendations Mandatory: A reminder to all basketball coaches that official recommendations are required this season. This was addressed at all of the preseason rule meetings, but all coaches are reminded that they have 90 days after the State Basketball Tournament to complete the online official recommendations. If a school fails to submit recommendations after the 90 days, the head coach is suspended from the 2010 tournament series. Please donÕt forget to do this!! See your AD for username & password information to access the online form.

Thank You!!:  A special thanks to all of the coaches for being so diligent in keeping up with the QuikStats. I had just a handful of schools that needed a reminder to update their information at the Feb. 2 deadline. Please stay with it through the end of the season. We are archiving all of our seasons, which will be a big help in maintaining records.
