Next QuikStats
Deadline: The
next mandatory QuikStats deadline is Monday, July 5. Stats must be updated through
July 3. As the regional tournament progresses, schools still alive in tournament
are expected to keep statistics updated on the QuikStats site.
Regional
Tournament Hosts: All
schools hosting regional contests are reminded to report scores immediately
following the conclusion of your game. You may call the scores in at (515)
288-9741. IGHSAU staff members will be in the office to take your calls.
Remember, reporting scores is a requirement of the host school. Failure to
complete this requirement jeopardizes your schoolÕs chances of hosting in
future years.
Official
Recommendations: With
the end of the year winding down, coaches are reminded that they are required
to complete the online official recommendation form as soon as possible.
Coaches have 90 days (this will be 30 days beginning next year) after the state
championship games to complete this online form. Coaches must recommend 8 to 12
officials for the 2011 regional & state tournaments. Coaches that fail to
submit their recommendations within the 90 days will not be permitted to coach
in the 2011 postseason.
