Urbandale capped a perfect season with a 4-0 victory over Des Moines Roosevelt to win the Iowa Girls' State Soccer Championship.
The four goals were the most by a team in a title game .Krista Kohout and Kim Hibbert led the J-Hawk attack. Kohout scored the first Urbandale goal and contributed an assist while Hibbert added two late goals in the second half. Jessica Shively scored Urbandale's second goal while Mandi McKinnie added a assist.
Urbandale controlled tbe game from the outset, allowing Roosevelt to just three shots while taking 12. Tessa Prati recorded three saves for the J-Hawks while Racheal Witosky had seven saves in a losing effort.
Urbandale ends the season at 25-0 while Des Moines Roosevelt ends the season at 16-3.
