Gilbert used a strong second half to edge Dallas Center-Grimes, 3-1, in the Class 1A consolation game.

Molly Sundberg hit on a penalty kick to give the Tigers (15-4)an early lead. Jaimee Johnson, on an assist from Lorna Torrez, tied the score with 4:43 remaining in the first half.

The Tigers took the lead for good on a goal Amanda Housken with 15:47 remaining in the match. Joelle Marshek added another goal with 9:56 remaining.

Gilbert finishes the year 15-4 while Dallas Center-Grimes finishes 12-4.
