Both Roosevelt goals occurred in a span of 77-second span in the second half. Malm found the net 59:23 into the match while Crandell knocked in a long crossing shot to stun the top-ranked Tigers.

The victory avenges Des Moines Roosevelt's only loss of the season, a 2-1 setback May 2.

The Roughriders face Dubuque Wahlert in this afternoon's championship match at 3 p.m. West Des Moines Valley faces Iowa City High in the 2A consolation match at 2:30 p.m.
