Wahlert jumped out to an early 1-0 lead with Natilie Roling knocked in Alexia Murray's pass with 19 minutes remaining in the first half.
Pella came right back when Courtney Fleener's header from Laura Van Wyk tied the score six minutes into the second half. The goal was the first that Wahlert had given up in the post season.
Wahlert was in control for much of the match, outshooting the Lady Dutch 15-4. Tressa Ver Steeg had a strong game in the net for Pella, saving eight shots.
Dubuque Wahlert seeks its fourth state soccer title Saturday when the Golden Eagles face Cedar Rapids Xavier at 11 a.m. The title game will be a rematch of a regular season game that saw Xavier win 2-1 in a shootout.
Pella suffers its first loss of the season and ends the year 18-1.
