Class 2A first round - Dowling Catholic 3, Sioux City North 0


Dowling Catholic scored two quick goals in the first half to subdue Sioux City North, 3-0, in a Class 2A first round game. The Maroons (16-1) received goals 60 seconds apart as scores by Katie Shandri and Abbie Burkhart gave Dowling a comfortable 2-0 lead 10 minutes into the game. The Maroons added another score with 17 minutes left in the match as Ann Hatlie scored on an Abby Showalter assist. Dowling outshot the Stars, 15-2.
