Sarah Schuring scored one goal with two assists to send third-ranked Pella to the Class 1A championship match with a 3-0 victory over Bishop Heelan in a 1A semifinal match Friday at the Muscatine Soccer Complex.

Pella, making its first trip to the state title match, will face top-ranked Cedar Rapids Xavier at 11 a.m. in Field 3.

Schuring got Pella on the board early, scoring on a Heidi VanderMolen assist 14 minutes into the first half. Schuring set up the Lady Dutch’s second goal three minutes later, assisting VanderMolen’s goal. Jenny Dorman added Pella’s final goal with 10 minutes left in the match.

Bishop Heelan ends its season at 15-5.
