Dike-New Hartford 17-25-25-16-15, Pella Christian 25-19-23-25-13

Hannah Willms had 19 kills and 22 digs to lead Dike-New Hartford to the Class 2A championship match with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Pella Christian in the Class 2A semifinals.

The victory sets up a 2A championship match featuring two of volleyball’s most storied programs. Western Christian will be gunning for its 11th state title while Dike-New Hartford seeks its eighth crown and first since 1997.

In addition to Willms’ 19 kills, the Wolverines received 13 kills from Heather Hogelucht while Brittney Hawkins added 11.

Jana Van Zanten had 16 kills for Pella Christian while Alaina Van Meer added 15.
