2005 Iowa Girls State Volleyball Tournament

CLASS 1A QUARTERFINALS

Karla Steffensmeier and Emily Fullenkamp combined for 34 of Holy Trinity's 47 kills to lead the Crusaders to a 25-19, 25-13, 20-25, 25-11 victory over North Kossuth in Class 1A action at the Iowa Girls State Volleyball Tournament in Cedar Rapids.

Steffensmeier converted 19 of 40 kills while Fullenkamp added 15 for fifth-ranked Holy Trinity. Alicia Runge had 20 kills to lead 11^th-ranked North Kossuth, who ends its season at 37-9,

Holy Trinity faces top-ranked Tripoli in the Class 1A semifinals Friday at 6 p.m.
