2005 Iowa Girls State Volleyball Tournament

CLASS 3A QUARTERFINALS

ADM 3, Harlan 2

Third-ranked ADM made the most of its first-ever trip to state, rallying to defeat eighth-ranked Harlan, 25-17, 23-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-6.

Emily Madden led the Tigers (34-3) with 23 kills while Lindsey Volz added 14. Brit Friesth had 10 kills with six service aces.

Kelli Goeser led Harlan with a match high 30 kills with four service winners and 25 digs. Lyndsey Larsen added nine kills for the Cyclones, who close their season at 27-6.

ADM advances to the Class 3A semifinals Friday at 2:15 p.m.
