2021 State Volleyball Tournament Spectator Information
The 2021 State Volleyball Tournament is November 1-4 at Alliant Energy PowerHouse (formerly known as US Cellular Center) in Cedar Rapids. The State Volleyball schedule is on the IGHSAU website in the State Volleyball Tournament Central link on the main page.
Tickets are on sale and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com (type in IGHSAU in the search section of the Ticketmaster home page) and charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000 for $12 inclusive of all online fees. Through Ticketmaster, volleyball fans can purchase their tickets in advance and have them securely delivered via email to print at home, or through mobile delivery to their phones. Mail and UPS delivery options will not be made available.
The admission price is $10.00 per person for an all-day ticket. Admission will be charged for those kindergarten age and older. Accepted forms of payment are cash or credit/debit cards. The Alliant Energy PowerHouse Box Office does not accept personal checks or American Express. Those wishing to leave the PowerHouse and return the same day must scan their ticket at the specified stations prior to leaving the arena for re-admittance to the PowerHouse later that same day.
Balloons, banners, signs, light or laser pens, or any paper debris (including confetti) are strictly prohibited. Objects that provide a safety concern (pom-poms on sticks, etc.) are prohibited. Artificial noisemakers such as air horns, megaphones, cowbells, thunder sticks, etc. are not allowed. Alliant Energy PowerHouse policy prohibits pounding on seats. All spectators must wear a shirt and shoes during IGHSAU-sponsored tournament matches. Shirts must be worn in a proper manner and shall not promote obscene or inappropriate content.
Only clear bags smaller than 12x12x6 may be brought into the Alliant Energy PowerHouse. Non-clear bags (purses, backpacks, etc.) will not be permitted.
The Five Seasons Parking Garage northeast of Alliant Energy PowerHouse is closed. The skywalk connected to that garage is closed as well. The Convention Center Parking Garage across 1st Avenue to the south of Alliant Energy PowerHouse is open as well as the skywalk connecting it to the arena. Shuttles will be available from noon – 10:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday. Pre-paid parking will be available at most ramps as well as Lots 9, 10 &12 in the greater downtown district for $5 per vehicle. Parking will be good until midnight of the respective day of entering the facility. There will be no re-entry. Free parking is available at South Side Ramp and Lot 44. The parking map on the IGHSAU website shows parking locations and shuttle routes. FYI…The Double Tree Hotel is not offering valet parking service at this time.
