Season Information
Dates & Guidelines
The following dates and guidelines are approved for the 2022-23 school year.
- Official Body Composition Assessment: October 10, 2022-January 26, 2023
- IWCOA Convention: October 29 (Des Moines)
- First practice: Monday, October 31
- First Competition: Monday, November 14
- Two Pound Allowance Date: December 12, 2022
- Playing dates: 17 regular season competition dates with no more than being 15 varsity competition (9 for junior high)
- Scrimmages: unlimited
- Super Regional Date: Friday, January 27th, 2023
- State tournament: February 2-3; Xtream Arena, Coralville.
Individual Limitations
Wrestlers are limited to five matches per day.

Academic eligibility resumes at 12:01 a.m. on December 14, 2022
